Así que si no sabes como aumentar la vida útil de una batería (o que por lo menos no se estropee antes de tiempo ) solo debes seguir estas sencillas instrucciones:

1.Evita descargar completamente la batería.
En las baterías de Ion-Litio lo más recomendable es descargar y recargar parcialmente la batería antes de que llegue al nivel mínimo. Solo una vez al mes se debe dejar totalmente descargada para que no tenga “efecto memoria”, o dicho en otras palabras, para que no tenga la tendencia de no ser nunca usada al 100%

2.Si por lo que sea no vas a usar tu portátil durante un período largo de tiempo, (cosa muy poco habitual , pero nunca esta demás decirlo ) lo mejor es que quites la batería y la guardes. Lo ideal en un sitio seco, sin nada de humedad y lejos del contacto con el sol o cualquier fuente de calor. Cuando la quites procura que se encuentre cerca del 50% de su capacidad.

3.Cuando tengas tu portátil conectado a la red eléctrica quita la batería, (en caso de que en tu portátil se pueda, no seas capullo )

Y recuerda que leer las instrucciones del fabricante siempre ayuda a que los aparatos electrónicos duren mucho mas, procura guardarlas en un sitio que luego seas capaz de recordar
