The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, University of Paris II, the ASIL, and the French Consulate in Boston are pleased to sponsor an international symposium held at the Fletcher School on November 14-15, 2008 on "Perspectives on International Criminal Justice". Panels will cover such topics as: global dilemmas of international criminal justice; modern ad hoc tribunals; U.S. and E.U. divergent approaches to the ICC; current challenges to international criminal justice; and the UN Security Council and international criminal justice. The Friday evening keynote will be delivered by John Bellinger, Legal Counsel to the U.S. Secretary of State, on "U.S. Policy and Perceptions of International Criminal Tribunals". Suffolk University Law School will host with support from the American Society of International Law, an international investment law symposium to mark the inaugural Foreign Direct Investment International Moot Competition (FDI Moot).
